What Are the Elemental and Fae Realms?

The elemental realms are dimensions of light and spiritual intelligences existing within the Earth planes. These beings operate within stone, soil, root, river, wind, flame, and light—including our physical bodies, which are themselves formed through elemental architecture. You might think of them as the angels of the Earth plane.
Rudolf Steiner described these beings as elemental devas: gnomes of the earth, undines of the waters, sylphs of the air, and salamanders of the fire. The word deva means “shining one” or “being of light.” These are not symbolic archetypes. They are differentiated expressions of consciousness stewarding the movement of elemental forces within physical reality.
Fairies and devas exist within a vast and highly differentiated spiritual ecology. Their populations are at least as varied as humanity’s, and in many ways even more so—expressing diverse functions, temperaments, and degrees of development across the subtle layers of the Earth plane.
They dwell close to the threshold where energetic reality meets material form—where vitality condenses into matter and intention begins to take shape. In this proximity, healing strengthens and manifestation increases as intention aligns with natural law.
These realms of spirit work intimately with Gaia, loving and protecting her with sacred devotion. They move with swift passion to circulate vitality and resources toward those aligned in care for Gaia and her children—animals, trees, waters, minerals, flowers, and humanity itself.

The trance journeys are guided meditations that offer states of expanded awareness. You are in management of how much you would like to commit to the experience, and you remain and in control at all times.
Tricia Carr is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist (CCHt), and these journeys are created within the professional framework of hypnosis.
Hypnosis is the broad category that includes meditation and other techniques that offer altered states of consciousness. It is a focused state of attention that engages the imagination at different levels. This state is natural, and every person moves in and out of hypnosis throughout the day.
Some experience hypnosis as a light contemplative state. Others experience a deeper inward immersion similar to the threshold of sleep, though not entirely asleep. Both are valid and effective. It is common for the journeys to be experienced in varying ways from session to session.
Hypnosis is a “do-with” (collaborative) process, not a “do-to” process. You remain in control. You choose how deeply to focus, how actively to engage, and how you respond internally. The journeys are guided invitations into expanded awareness, held within therapeutic structure and energetic containment.

This program employs guided and self-guided visualization, creative imagination, focused attention, and mild hypnotic modalities to support spiritual connection. While these approaches are generally well tolerated, certain clinically diagnosed mental health conditions can contraindicate or limit the use of hypnosis or altered-state practices without medical oversight.
Individuals with diagnoses such as schizophrenia or other psychotic disorders, bipolar I disorder with a history of manic or psychotic episodes, dissociative identity disorder, active dissociative disorders, or any condition involving impaired reality testing are typically advised to avoid hypnotic or trance-based practices unless explicitly cleared and supervised by a qualified medical or mental health professional. Those with severe or acute post-traumatic stress disorder may also require professional guidance before engaging in such techniques.
